Senior Research Associate / Associate Scientist, DMPK and Clinical Pharmacology

Revolution Medicines is seeking a motivated and energetic individual with a scientific background to be part of the Development Sciences Organization. This position contributes to and supports the company’s research and development efforts to create new medicines for cancer patients by harnessing the value of frontier oncology targets – proteins that drive the growth of cancers or that control immune responses that can defeat them. This position will be a critical contributor to the Development Sciences organization and work with multi-disciplinary research project teams.


As a key member of our dynamic Development Sciences team, you will have proven expertise in:

  • Design and conduct in vitro and in vivo DMPK property characterization toward the optimization of research compounds from lead generation through candidate selection for each program/project.

  • Develop PK study protocols, analyze and interpret data, and represent DMPK in project team meetings.

  • Preform PK/TK sample bioanalysis using LC-MS/MS, method development and trouble-shooting.

  • Manage and coordinate CROs work and out-sourcing of DMPK activities. 

  • Maintain detailed documentation of study records and keep internal database up to date.

  • Draft study reports to support regulatory filing.

  • Build up internal DMPK lab capacity as needed.

  • Author or co-author scientific publications and attend conferences.

Required Skills
  • MSc. or Ph.D. degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences and related field.

  • 5+ MSc. or 0 – 2 Ph.D. years of experience in biotech or pharma industry.

  • Strong experience with bioanalysis and in vitro ADME/PK study design and data interpretation to drive small molecular drug discovery projects.

  • Hands-on laboratory experience with LC-MS/MS and in vitro techniques used for ADME characterization.

  • Proficient in data analysis softwares, e.g. Phoenix WinNonlin PK analysis, GraphPad Prism and ChemDraw.

  • Rigorous, quantitative, attention to detail, keen to maximize efficiency.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent record keeping skills, and calm under pressure.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with project and departmental teams.

  • Innovative, proactive team-player with high energy for our small company environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines and work efficiently in a fluid environment and independently.
